You might want to get photos before your newborn starts to look like the other parent! Just joking… kind of. From the sight of your baby's tiny fingers and toes to the sound of their first cries, the warmth of their newborn skin, the feel of their soft hair and the look in their eyes. Every detail is a precious and irreplaceable memory parents cherish and hold dear.
This is a 90 minutes documentary style photo session which takes place within the first 48 hours after birth at the place of birth (hospital/birth centre/home) after parents and baby must have rested a bit.
For fresh 48 sessions you do need to enquire about my availability and book at least 2-3 weeks before your due date. In cases where babies decide to arrive before due date, you can send me a heads up text message when labor starts so i can immediately fit you in my schedule for the next 48 hours, and another text message soon after birth, and we'll agree on a time you want me to join you and your loved ones (if they'll be present at that time).
During the Fresh 48 session, you may want to use the time to try on baby’s first outfit, capture older siblings meeting baby for the first time, introduce baby to grandparents and family, or just snuggle and feed. This isn’t your usual posed family session, this is simply a session honestly documenting those first moments with your squishy newborn.
